It has already attracted a large membership from a variety of different theoretical backgrounds, and has published its own journal, with the ISA, since 2007. As it can be imagined, drawing up a list of topics which reflects the interests of such a diverse group of scholars was no mean task. Vivienne Jabri, during her term as chair of the section (2006–7), drew up a preliminary list.
