Authorized Users are individuals who either have paid for a subscription to International Studies Online, or are authorized for on-line access under the terms of their institution's subscription or licence with Blackwell Publishing. Members of the public may access the open parts of this site in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
Written Licence from The International Studies Online
Authorized Users should check with their site or library administration the terms of its licence for International Studies Online, if any. If their institution has entered a written licence for The International Studies Online, that licence will govern the terms under which they access this site, and shall take precedence over these terms.
Download of Individual Articles
The terms for access to individual articles by members of the public are set out on the click through licence when you apply for access.
You are allowed access to browse the site for personal use. Unreasonable use, including the systematic downloading of content without a written licence, will result in access to the site being blocked. Under no circumstances does permitted usage include any commercial exploitation of the material.
Copying of individual articles is governed by the terms of the click through licence. Users may print off or make single copies of web pages (other than individual articles) for personal use. Users may also save web pages other than individual articles electronically for personal use. Electronic dissemination or mailing of articles is not permitted, without prior permission from Blackwell Publishing.
Blackwell Publishing will endeavour to provide access to all materials on a 24/7 basis, but will not be held liable for any loss of service.
